Vali Amusements who currently run the Parko Paliatso in Ayia Napa have ventured into Protaras opening another amusement park. The Protaras Fun Park is smaller than its contemporary, but it still provides lots of fun rides for the whole family to enjoy. The Protaras Fun Park is adjacent to the Lidl supermarket and is one of the newest attractions on the island operating for only its second year. The park offers visitors a whole host of fun filled entertainment for all ages, promising visitors plenty of unforgettable moments. The park has a number of different attractions which include arcade rides, music express, trampolines, water rides, the carousel, the swing ride, the 5D nature show, the caterpillar mini rollercoaster, the jungle train, the 360 ride, and the pirate ship.
FREE TO ENTER
The Protaras Fun Park runs under the same rules as Parko Paliatso, and is free to enter operating a conventional pay per ride system. There are a number of different priced rides and attractions throughout so it is easy to set a budget. The funfair normally operates from April till October and opens from 5.30pm till midnight seven days a week. The sound of laughter and excitement fills the air constantly, creating an intriguing atmosphere in this colourful setting and the park is indeed a magical children’s land. The park remains open until midnight and as soon as it gets dark, the colourful lights create a new vibrancy, making it an excellent way to spend an evening out with children.
DELICIOUS FAIRGROUND SNACKS
There is something for everyone to enjoy and although the park’s facilities are aimed at children, adults often find themselves joining in the arcade games. The park offers a variety of delicious fairground snacks from hot dogs and burgers to crepes and refreshing drinks, which can be enjoyed at one of the many picnic tables dotted around the park.Â
