WATERWORLD WATERPARK AYIA NAPA
WaterWorld is the award-winning Greek mythology-themed waterpark situated in Ayia Napa. Normally operating from April through to November, this waterpark currently stands as one of the region’s main attractions.
FACILITIES
Offering free onsite parking on arrival, this attraction normally operates from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm daily, usually from late April to early November. Each admission ticket offers all-day access to all of the park’s facilities as well as its rides. Once inside, there is free Wi-Fi, several food outlets, and some souvenir shops, along with its wide and varied selection of rides and attractions for people of all ages. The changing areas offer lockers and towel hire, which are both available for a minimal daily rental fee. All sunloungers and umbrellas are free. The multiple onsite dining options include the self-service Dionysos Temple restaurant. There are also pizza, fish and chips and an ice cream parlour for desserts.
FUN FOR ALL AGES
This attraction has something for everybody. The ‘Delphini’ and ‘Trojan’ areas are dedicated to younger visitors, and are mainly where the Animation Team provides all-day light entertainment. There are also various child-friendly swimming areas that include wave pools and Jacuzzis. The Trojan Adventure and Pegasus Children’s Pool are available throughout the day, and the Poseidon Wave Pool is Europe’s largest. The River Odyssey lazy river allows all visitors, young and old, to navigate the majority of the park at a leisurely pace.
A FULL RANGE OF RIDES
Each ride has an age indicator as well as a level of difficulty. High adrenaline fun seekers will be pushed to their limits when they try the Kamikaze, Thunderbolt, Lightning, and the ‘Quest of Heracles’ rides. There is also the high-speed Drop of Atlantis, which has a striking audiovisual effect. The Aeolos Whirlpool, which constantly spins people around, also tests endurance.
EVENTS
The park hosts ‘The Wave Fest’ every Sunday from late June through to August, featuring international DJs and live performances.
ONLINE DISCOUNTS
Tickets purchased online often include a free second-day visit. The free visit, though, cannot be redeemed during July and August.

THE THEA BEACH VIP CABANAS
A total of 14 cabanas are available for private hire, and each one can host parties of up to 8 people in total. They are located by WaterWorld’s Poseidon’s Wave Pool and offer visitors an exclusive private facility that is sectioned off from the common areas of the Waterpark.
