Cyprus hosts several highly anticipated annual beer festivals throughout the summer and autumn across the island. These lively outdoor events feature local microbreweries, international brands, street food, and live music. These events usually draw massive crowds that partake in multi-day celebrations of brewing culture.
MAJOR ANNUAL BEER FESTIVALS
LARNACA
Beer Festival Larnaca: Taking place at Larnaca’s Zouhouri Square from September 26th, this two-day festival is one of the island’s smaller beer celebrations. This festival offers more than 30 local and international beers that are available to try alongside authentic Cypriot street food. The festival is also offering family-friendly entertainment in the form of live music concerts.

• Venue: Zouhouri Square, Larnaca, Cyprus.
• Admission: Entry to the festival grounds is entirely free. Visitors simply purchase their beers and food from the individual kiosks.
• Highlights: More than 30 different beer varieties and labels from international craft breweries as well as local microbreweries across Cyprus open their doors, along with several street food vendors offering a range of different street foods. The festival also includes interactive beer games, competitions, and a dedicated children’s area. Each evening also features a lineup of live DJs, popular Greek and Cypriot rock/pop bands, and traditional folk dancing.
NICOSIA
Septemberfest Beer Fun Festival: Taking place at Nicosia’s Akadimias Park from September 1st, this seven-day festival is one of the island’s larger beer celebrations. Organised by DISPLAY ART PLC, this festival offers more than 100 local and international beers that are available to try alongside authentic Cypriot street food. The festival is also offering family-friendly entertainment in the form of live music concerts.

• Venue: Akadimias Park, Aglantzia, Nicosia, Cyprus.
• Admission: Single-day tickets generally start around €12, with all-day multi-pass tickets available online via platforms such as TICKETBOX or directly at the entrance gates. Free entry for children under 12 when accompanied by a paying adult.

Medfest Limassol Beer Festival: This five-day annual event is being held at a brand-new venue this year. Beginning on June 24th, 2026, at the Linopetra High School Stadium in Limassol, this year’s event features over 100 local and international beers that are available to try alongside authentic Cypriot street food. The festival is also offering family-friendly entertainment in the form of some live music concerts.

Paphos Beer Festival: The five-day event is held annually in the peak of summer, transforming the old stone walls of the medieval castle into a lively outdoor hub. Using the historic Paphos Castle and harbour waterfront as its backdrop, the opening night of the largest and longest-running outdoor beer celebration in Cyprus usually attracts up to 15,000 people. Taking place this year on August 5th, 2026. This festival offers more than 150 local and international beers that are available to try alongside authentic Cypriot street food. The festival is also offering family-friendly entertainment in the form of some live music concerts. This five-day festival usually draws beer enthusiasts from across the island and features several craft beers from all around the world.
