Obtaining petrol in Cyprus is generally a straight forward process. There are numerous 24 hour petrol outlets in Cyprus, and they offer a range of convenient services and facilities. All petrol stations offer easy navigation, multiple location and a 24 hour service, and this helps create a stress free driving experience across the island.
PETROL ATTENDANTS
Finding a petrol station is relatively easy. Most petrol stations are adequately sign posted and most are listed on satellite navigation systems. Petrol station opening times vary but the majority are open from 6.00am until 6.00pm. Petrol attendants dispense fuel by the litre during normal working hours and accept tips from drivers for cleaning windows and topping up engine liquids. Some Petrol stations close early on Wednesday afternoons.
24 HOUR SELF SERVICE MACHINES
All petrol stations on the island operate as 24 hour petrol outlets. They all employ the use of self-service machines that dispense fuel when they are closed. The machines accept all major credit cards or bank notes, but they do not dispense any change. All petrol stations sell two types of petrol and a single type of diesel. Super is the premium petrol version and 95 is the standard unleaded version. Diesel is sold in a single standard format.
