THE LONGEST COASTAL PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY IN CYPRUS

The Longest Pedestrian Walkway In Cyprus

A WALK FROM POTIMA BAY TO ST GEORGES HARBOUR

The Akamas municipality continues its work on the longest coastal pedestrian walkway in Cyprus. The entire urban walkway development project spans a total of 14 km. This makes it the longest continuous walkway on the island. The entire project, which starts in the Peyia area of Paphos, is partly funded by the European Union. Starting at Potima Bay, the walkway carries on all the way to St. George’s Harbour. The initial 2 km stretch of the first phase of the project features an amphitheatre, an outdoor gym, basketball courts, a kiosk, and several children’s playgrounds.
