WHAT IS PICKLEBALL?
Pickleball is a racket sport that was as invented in Washington State in the US in 1965. The game, which can be played indoors or outdoors has since become the official sport of Washington State and is now played the world over. Relatively new to Cyprus, pickleball is a fun and fast-paced inclusive sport which is quickly gaining in popularity with the masses on the island. Playing Pickleball in Cyprus could not be easier and it has become a favourite pastime amongst many locals and visitors all over the island. People of all ages and skill levels are coming together to play and enjoy the sport which combines elements of tennis, table tennis and badminton. Great news about the pickleball courts in Paphos. We’ve been playing on outdoor courts and indoor for a few years here in Polis/ Argaka 😊
Hi, just came across your post. Was wondering if you’ve played in Paphos recently? I’m in Paphos for a few days in March 2025 and am hoping to play a few games but can’t find anywhere online that’s offering Pickleball games.
Hope you can advise.

Hello Moira, Have you tried the links in the article? These should help you find the latest places where you can play the sport
Hi, thanks for the message. Yes I’ve messaged Green Padel Club but unfortunately haven’t received a reply. Since my message I’ve spoken to someone who is going to put me in touch with a group who play about half an hour from Paphos. Hopefully I’ll get my Pickleball fix sometime during my visit. 🙂
