Every mountain village in Cyprus not only offers pleasant surroundings, but also an abundance of fresh clean air. Along with a host of different things to see and do, a visit to such a place can be combined with a musical concert. With this in mind, a series of musical performances in and around the TROODOS MOUNTAINS, are often held by MUSIC IN THE MOUNTAINS.
REGULAR PERFORMANCES
Founded in 2005, by a small group of friends, MUSIC IN THE MOUNTAINS organises and holds regular concerts throughout the year. This has resulted in a sponsored program that regularly uses rural locations mainly across the mountanous regions of Paphos and Limassol. MUSIC IN THE MOUNTAINS also helps to promote often intimate live performances of local and internationally acclaimed artists, performing several different musical genres.
A MUSICAL TRIP TO THE MOUNTAINS
These carefully selected venues often draw inspiration from the beautiful Cyprus countryside that offer a high-quality rural setting. These often add another dimension to the live performances, often creating a special atmosphere that showcases everything from contemporary classical music to Jazz and folk. This also enhances the diversity of the differing genres of music that they help to promote across Cyprus.
