A MODERN WELL-EQUIPPED FACILITY
Initially located in the heart of the old city, the NICOSIA RACE CLUB moved to its current location, to the Nicosia suburb of Latsia, in 1979. The current venue hosts regular horse racing whilst boasting a modern, well-equipped facility. Today, the club has a large grandstand, good-quality stables, and a spacious racecourse. The club is capable of hosting a variety of racing events. These include a full range of events from flat racing to steeplechases.
NEW RACING EVENTS & INITIATIVES
The NICOSIA RACE CLUB constantly strives to expand and improve its profile. It does this by constantly developing new racing events and initiatives, attracting more spectators on race days. One of the key areas of focus for the club is the promotion of horse racing as a family-friendly and inclusive sport. The club has launched several initiatives aimed at engaging young people. These include youth riding programs, educational workshops, and community events, aimed at creating a new generation of equestrian enthusiasts.
