PUBLIC HOLIDAYS IN CYPRUS 2026

There 16 official public holidays in Cyprus, and on these days all public services, banks and nearly all businesses on the island remain closed. The majority of shops, hotels and restaurants however, in coastal tourist areas normally remain open. All emergency services, late night pharmacies, ATM’s, taxis and hospitals remain unaffected by public holidays, as well as all 24 hour shops, such as bakeries, kiosks and mini-marts.
