A NEW AI TASK FORCE FOR CYPRUS
CYPRUS TO EMBRACE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Cyprus has appointed its own artificial intelligence task force to help prepare the country to address challenges and grasp the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence. The 11-member team will advise the government on the development, incorporation and implementation of artificial intelligence across Cyprus. It will do this with a view to enhancing the economy, securing competitiveness and improving the quality of life for all.
DRAFTING AN OVERALL STRATEGY
As well as consulting and making recommendations, the artificial intelligence task force will also be ultimately responsible for drafting the overall strategy for the implementation of artificial intelligence. It would also identify the sectors where artificial intelligence would be useful and suggest ways to improve the public sector’s effectiveness and efficiency. The task force will also monitor international trends to develop a research and innovation ecosystem in this field.

SEVERAL METHODS OF ONLINE COMMUNICATION
A recent study has highlighted changes in how Europeans overall communicate. The study showed how the internet has played a pivotal role in how communication has changed over the last decade. It also highlighted the increase in use of artificial intelligence and what impact this will have on future digital communication methodology. The findings also reflect the overall growing digital engagement across the whole of Europe and indicate that cyprus wifi usgae is on the rise.
HIGH WIFI CONNECTIVITY RATES
Over 90% of households across Europe now have reliable, fast internet access. The Netherlands and Luxembourg currently have the highest connectivity rates, with nearly 100% of households now using online services. Other countries like Greece and Croatia are lagging, however, and have the lowest rates of just above 86%. Cyprus sits in between, with 94.2% of households now having internet access.
A PREFFERED METHOD OF COMMUNICATION
Cyprus wifi usage is on the rise, and internet access in Cypriot households has grown significantly over the last decade. Wifi use on the island has increased by nearly 70% during this time. Cyprus is also among the countries where instant messaging has overtaken email as the preferred method of communication. Other European countries experiencing this shift include Austria, Spain, and Italy.
A LOOK AT ONLINE BEHAVIOUR
Additionally, the survey also looked at online behaviour. This included how people search for goods and services, and their consumption of digital news through online newspapers and magazines. Travel sites, along with sites offering a whole range of services, also featured heavily.
