THE ICE AGE COMES TO LARNACA
AN EXHIBITION THAT BRINGS THE ICE AGE & PREHISTORIC WORLD TO LIFE
Larnaca Municipality is hosting an ‘Ice Age’ themed educational park at Zouhouri Square from March 20th to May 1st. This initiative forms part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to enhance its visitor experience through innovative and educational entertainment events.
This initiative, which opens its doors to the public every day at 10.00 am, aims to bring the prehistoric world of the ice age to life by providing a unique opportunity for people of all ages to travel back in time to the frozen era of the prehistoric creatures that prevailed 10,000 years ago. The collaboration between Larnaca Municipality and Eksagon Exhibitions also provides extended opportunities for school groups, families and other visitors to experience the prehistoric-themed educational displays.
The thematic park also offers visitors an opportunity to explore prehistoric environments through interactive exhibits complemented by specially designed low-temperature settings intended to create an immersive historical experience. The exhibition also features all manner of fascinating prehistoric creatures creating a captivating and exciting atmosphere for all. The exhibit offers realistic representations of these animals and offers the opportunity to learn how these creatures lived and evolved through the ages. The mammoths, woolly rhinos and sabre-toothed tigers are further enhanced by robotics that display both movement and sound.
